Newborn Sessions can be hit or miss but this little girl was sooo good for her session. She was born right before I left on vacation so she was older than the newborns I typically photograph which made me a little nervous. However, she did so good! I lost count on how many times I said “she is so cute!” during her session. But seriously she is so adorable with those chubby arms and all that hair!

Newborn Sessions can always go differently depending on the size and personality of the baby. This little girl was one of the smallest newborns I had ever photographed outside of my own. She was just a little five pound peanut. Her session started off well but then she was just done. After a couple of feedings she was happy as can be again and slept well. I find that sometimes those smaller babies need more feedings to get into the deep sleep that is needed for newborn photos.
