I had the chance to do these regina outdoor newborn photos recently and it was so much fun! I love a classic newborn photoshoot but it was fun to change it up. We did the photos near Wascana Hill in Douglas Park in Regina. There was a perfect little area with nice trees, light and little flowers.

Newborn Sessions can always go differently depending on the size and personality of the baby. This little girl was one of the smallest newborns I had ever photographed outside of my own. She was just a little five pound peanut. Her session started off well but then she was just done. After a couple of feedings she was happy as can be again and slept well. I find that sometimes those smaller babies need more feedings to get into the deep sleep that is needed for newborn photos.
