We held our summer mini sessions this past July in Wascana Park in Regina. We had two gorgeous evenings filled with the most beautiful lighting and just a few mosquitoes. Mini sessions are a great opportunity to take some updated family photos or photos of just the children.
If you have done a family photo session with me you have problem heard me talk about golden hour lighting. This lighting occurs in the last hour before sunset. It is the most flattering light and gives photos an appealing glowing effect that makes for gorgeous photos. I did our summer mini sessions recently and shared the evolution of the lighting over on instagram and decided that I should share it here as well so you can have a visual on why golden hour lighting is so important. I did choose a location that i knew would be good earlier in the evening so the lighting was good for all of the sessions but you can definitely see that it gets better with every session.
