As a newborn photographer I get a lot of questions about what is included in a Newborn Session so I thought it would be helpful to do up a blog post about just that. Newborn photography is not cheap and quite frankly it probably isn’t an area where you want cheap. When you are talking about your baby you want to ensure that they are safe and healthy and that the person taking your photos has a lot of experience and knows how to do their job safely. But what exactly is included in that larger price tag?
If you’ve ever done a newborn session you know how difficult those poses can be and how much patience is required. Perfecting these poses comes with years of practice. I promise you could not pick up and get these same poses of your baby.
We have a gorgeous studio to use that is filled with things to make your session go smoothly. Two white noise machines to help baby sleep, a warm fireplace to keep them cozy and settled, lighting to make the photos look their best and a nice room for you and your husband to rest in.
Did you know that in this photo alone there is more than $500 worth of props. Newborn photography props are typically the best quality and as a result they are very pricey. We try to keep on top of trends and continue to add new props so that your photos are unique. Having a wide variety of props means a good variety in your images and photos that best represent your interests.
If your baby is fussy there’s a good chance I can tell you why. I can spot when a baby is hungry or has a sore tummy and I can almost always find a solution. I’ve been called a baby whisperer many times and have a lot of tricks up my sleeve to help you baby settle into a deep sleep.
The most important part. You will receive 25 digital images in a final gallery. You can share these images with your friends and family and you can print them directly from your online gallery.
